Journeyfront, the world’s most accurate hiring software, raises $13.4M Series A
Salt Lake City, January 12th, 2022: Journeyfront, a Utah-based software company that specializes in hiring accuracy, has raised $13.4M in Series A funding led by Elevation Capital and with participation from Orchard Ventures, Connetic Ventures, and First Hand Ventures. This round also featured many other investors, including Brad Bonham, CEO of Walker Edison and Principal at BonCo.; Dave Grow, President of Lucid Software; Ryan Westwood, CEO of Simplus; Simon Chan, Founder of Salesforce-acquired Prediction IQ; Matt Marsh and Brian Gornick, Co-Founders and Managing Partners of Charles Thayne Capital; Thomas Lehrman, Managing Partner of Teamworthy Ventures; and Bart Skalla, CFO of Revroad.
Journeyfront will use the funds to aggressively grow the team, accelerate sales and marketing, and expand the capabilities of the platform (including expanded enterprise features).
Founded in 2017 by Daniel Ash, Nick Lyon, and Erik Porfeli, Journeyfront’s mission is to unleash the potential of the world’s workforce by helping companies more accurately hire the right people for the right jobs.
For Journeyfront Founder and CEO Daniel Ash, fixing the outdated way companies match people to jobs is personal. Daniel learned early in his career what it felt like to be in a job that wasn’t a match. “I felt like I was using my left hand when I was right-handed. There were certain strengths and passions I had that weren’t being utilized in the job and I had more to give. I realized millions of others were in the same situation. This was a massive problem for people and companies alike and I wanted to solve it.”
"What I realized early on is that Applicant Tracking Systems, the predominant system used for hiring today, are good at tracking applicants, but do not ensure you’re making the right hire. That’s that gap Journeyfront is filling. Journeyfront doesn’t replace Applicant Tracking Systems, but rather makes them better, by integrating to give companies powerful new capabilities.”
“Investing in hiring accuracy represents a massive opportunity for companies no matter their specific goals or challenges. Whether it’s improving employee retention, performance, culture or diversity, it all starts with hiring right.”
As companies begin to hire back after The Great Resignation, it appears this message is resonating. Journeyfront grew 4x last year, with a Customer NPS of over 70%. Utah Valley Magazine listed Journeyfront as one of the Top 10 Startups to watch in the state.
Commenting on their role in the recent funding, Ravi Adusumalli, Founder and Managing Partner at Elevation Capital, said: “Journeyfront has increased the likelihood of getting the right person in the right role the first time; improving employee satisfaction, while reducing the time and resources required in hiring. Journeyfront delivers a better experience for both the candidate and the employer. We are excited to support this vision.”
With this new round of funding Journeyfront is positioned to expand their impact on the world's workforce and is hiring across every department!
